The ROCK Men's ministry is a group of men joining forces on a mission to see men restored, empowered and equipped to step into God's calling on their lives.

ROCK stands for Representatives Of Christ's Kingdom.

Our goals are to:

Unite and encourage men, young and old, to develop a closer relationship with Jesus Christ and with one another.

Mentor young men by serving as godly role models and showing what it means to be a Christian man.

Strengthen marriages, family and our community by strengthening the men.

All men and kids are invited to join ROCK for an outdoor survival and woodsman training adventure on Sunday, February 25, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Gary and Michelle's home, 1090 Cranberry Lane, Ossineke, MI 49766.

We will explore and study nature through activities such as hiking, navigating, building fire, creating shelter and finding food. This adventure will be full of opportunities to deepen relationships while learning age-old practices of surviving and thriving in God's beautiful yet wild creation.

This event is geared towards dads and kids, but all men are welcome to join us.  All kids must be accompanied by an adult.

There is no cost to this event.  A meal cooked over a campfire will be included!

Please RSVP by signing up at church or contacting Luke Dreyer (989) 370-8114.

In the Spring, we offer a men's weekend away where we can continue to empower, equip and restore!  This time away features guest speakers, workshops, worship and time to build relationship with other men just like you!

These "Four Ideals of an Authentic Man" are adapted from the Men's Fraternity by Robert Lewis:

1.  Rejects social and spiritual passivity

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.  Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is- His good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:2

2.  Accepts responsibility

Be on your guard, stand firm in the faith; be men of courage, be strong. 1 Corinthians 16:13

3.  Leads courageously in his family, job, and community

Be as for me and my family, we will serve the Lord.

Joshua 24:15

4.  Serves, not only for an earthly reward, but expecting God's greater reward

Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. Revelation 22:12
